To reduce waiting times at bus stops everywhere, I designed and built the globally successful transport app ‘Bus Checker’. This was a full stack solution comprising: An iOS app, Android app, RESTful Web API.
Outcomes: 3 million+ active users / £3M revenue. #2 in UK App Store, Google Play Top Developer Badge, Appster Award for ‘Best App’. I bootstrapped a company (UrbanThings) off the success of this product, ultimately handing the project over to my own CTO/engineering team.
